About Us

Almost a decade ago now, my best friend, also known as my spouse, and I decided to set off on a new adventure. We had both completed successful military careers in the U.S. Air Force and had moved on to the next chapter of our lives. He found enjoyable work continuing the same type of work he’d done in the service while I struggled to find employment in my chosen post-Air Force career path. So one day we looked at each other and said, “let’s sell out of Florida and head to where our money goes farther”. That was in 2014. Long story short, we bought a truck, an RV and prepared to put our home up for sale. Fast-forward to January 2016 and we were on our way. We were house hunting in 4 states with a list of features to create our ideal homestead, by Memorial Day weekend of that year we had closed on our new home, a mid-40s Craftsman house in Northeast Tennessee. We developed a 5-year plan that we’re heading to year 8…lol. Over this time we’ve begun learning new skills, making new things and discovering that we enjoy auctions. Which brings us too today. We want to share the things we make, the things we find, and other discoveries we find on our journey. Please take a wander around our store and see what we have to offer. Food-stuff is, unfortunately, only able to delivered to a Tennessee address as sale is permitted under the Tennessee Food Freedom Act. Some of the finds that are looking for a new home, are single items we found at our local auction. Other items are made by either one or both of us and we thought others might enjoy them as we do.
